How Credit Repair Works
Fixing your credit is one of the most important things you could ever do for yourself and your family.
But how exactly does credit repair work?
Well, it’s actually quite simple, here are the 5 stages of credit repair.
Stage 1. Sign Up.
Enroll in our Credit Repair services by clicking here.
Stage 2. Obtain Your Credit Reports.
You will receive a welcome e-mail with a link to www.AnnualCreditReport.com where you will be able to obtain a free copy of your credit reports from the credit bureaus (Experian, Equifax, and Transunion).
Once you obtain the reports, you can fax, email, or mail them to us.
Stage 3. Legal Action.
CreditFirm.net will review your credit reports and initiate creditor and credit bureau investigations on your behalf. We will send out the appropriate legal challenges under the direction of a licensed attorney.
Credit Firm will leverage all of your consumer rights under the FACTA, FCRA, FDCPA, FCBA, and HIPAA to ensure the fastest and most beneficial credit repair process for you.
Stage 4. Investigations.
By law, the Credit Reporting Agencies have 30-45 days to conduct their investigations. Once concluded, the credit bureaus (Experian, Equifax, and Transunion) will mail out new credit reports or addendums to your credit reports containing the results of those investigations.
Once received, please fax, e-mail, or mail those documents to us for review.
Stage 5. Update & Follow-Up.
Upon receipt of the documents you provide, we review your new credit reports for changes and e-mail you an update on the status of your credit file, letting you know which accounts have been verified, updated, or deleted.
Based on the investigation results, our team will contact your creditors, collection agencies, and credit bureaus to challenge the remaining accounts and escalate the process. At this point, a new investigation will be initiated (also called the second round), and the Investigation, Update, and Follow-Up process repeats until your goal is achieved.
