Nowadays, there are plenty of sites that offer free credit reports for all 3 credit bureaus as well as free credit scores and free credit monitoring.
Here is a list of a few places where you can get your free credit reports and free credit scores.
The Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) requires each of the credit reporting agencies (Equifax, Experian, and TransUnion) to provide you with a free copy of your credit report, at your request, once every 12 months.
The three credit bureaus have set up one central website, a toll-free telephone number, and a mailing address through which you can order your free credit report.
You may order your free annual credit report via any of the following means:

Credit Karma provides free credit reports from Equifax and TransUnion along with weekly updates and free credit scores using the VantageScore v3.0 scoring model.
FreeCreditReport.com provides consumers with a free Experian credit report which updates every month.
They will try to sell you a credit score but, you don’t really need it since you can get a free Experian credit score on other sites. (Keep reading, they are listed below).
